Fabio Bottarelli, Product Manager & Business Development Manager Handling & Robotics, has presented the pneumatic “smart” gripper prototype for collaborative robots at MECSPE 2021.
Camozzi Automation was among the four finalists in the "Horizon" category for the "Robotics Innovation" award with a pneumatic smart gripper for collaborative robots.
The award ceremony took place on November 24, 2021, during MECSPE, the reference fair for the manufacturing industry.
Fabio Bottarelli, Product Manager & Business Development Manager Handling & Robotics, attended the event to present the prototype developed by our BU MARC - Handling & Simulation Digital Twin, together with the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa. This research project aims to develop a series of products and technologies for the Camozzi grippers of the future.
