If the interconnection of machinery, enabled by the so-called Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), was the essential element of Industry 4.0, with Industry 5.0 we are moving towards further technological evolution. In addition to the now established need for interconnection, the key concept of predictivity is introduced, based on the ability to collect and organize refined data on the behavior of a component or machine, which can be clearly and legibly presented to an operator, enabling them to monitor and understand its health status at any given moment.
Interconnection and predictivity together lay the technological foundations for the development of so-called Maintenance 5.0 or predictive maintenance, which today becomes a true strategic asset to meet new challenges of energy efficiency, cost, and waste reduction, and to drive the development of increasingly green manufacturing and industry.
It is precisely within this framework that Camozzi Automation supports and participates in Euromaintenance 2024, with a stand dedicated to its range of smart products. Thanks to the ability to integrate pneumatic, proportional, and electric technology, the company offers products and solutions oriented towards predictivity based on a proprietary technology called CoilVision. CoilVision, already integrated into several components including the valve island Series D and the pressure regulators Series PRE and PME, consists of a control algorithm that monitors the health status of the valves inside the mentioned products. This algorithm allows the generation of refined data within the component itself, accessible to the user through LED blinking on the product, or via messages on field buses to the PLC, or through IIoT protocols with WiFi connection to gateways and/or HMIs. Finally, the same data can be accessed through UVIX software, Camozzi Automation's free platform installable on i386 architectures in Linux and Windows environments.

The cobot in the demo is equipped with the new collaborative gripper, Series CSSP, while the SECO HMI panel allows for data processing and visualization, as well as controlling various machine functions. This demonstrates how refined data can be used and organized through different graphic interfaces designed to maximize the user's experience. Additionally, on this sophisticated demo, you will be able to see the operation of some of Camozzi Automation's most innovative products, such as the valve island Series D, Series DRVI, and the FRL MX Safemax, compliant with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
