Innse-Berardi & Ingersoll: Your Tech Partners
Camozzi Machine Tools, represented by Ingersoll and Innse-Berardi will showcase their cutting-edge machining solutions designed to meet the demands of the global manufacturing industry. With a focus on precision, efficiency, and sustainability. These technologies are crafted to enhance productivity and drive technological progress.
Subtractive Manufacturing
Subtractive manufacturing, commonly referred to as CNC machining, is a process based on removing material from a rough piece, or workpiece, to create the desired shape. This can be done through various machining processes such as milling, turning, and drilling. The final piece is obtained after the removal of excess material by means of proper tools designed to reach many kind of geometry. This makes subtractive manufacturing ideal for industries like aerospace, automotive, general mechanic, energy and naval, that require high accuracy and tight tolerances.
Innse-Berardi offers a comprehensive range of products able to reach the best performances in subtractive manufacturing. The Atlas family features vertical multitasking machining centers, while the Aries family comprises advanced horizontal boring and milling machines, both equipped with either hydrostatic or mechanical technology. Additionally, the PowerMax® family specializes in high-speed milling and trimming of large, complex-geometry parts in aluminum, titanium, hard metals.
Additive Manufacturing
Additive manufacturing, usually referred to as 3D printing, is a process based on the realization of objects layer by layer starting from a digital model. This technology works with materials like plastics, metals, and composites, which are deposited and fused to form the final product. AM allows to machine complex geometries and designs that are difficult or impossible to achieve with traditional methods. It is ideal for prototyping, custom manufacturing, and in sectors such as aerospace, naval, automotive & medical, which demand high accuracy and flawless finishing. Ingersoll product portfolio includes the latest state-of-art solutions dedicated to this type of manufacturing. Its MasterPrint® family, one of the world's largest thermoplastic 3D printers, is capable of producing extra-large, hollow parts in a single piece especially for the aerospace and marine sectors.
Fiber Placement
Fiber placement is a process that typically involves the use of composite materials, where continuous fibers (like carbon or glass) are precisely placed and bonded to form a composite structure. This method allows for the creation of lightweight and strong components, commonly realized in aerospace, automotive, and sporting goods industries. The fibers are placed using automated machinery that ensures high precision and consistency, optimizing the strength-to-weight ratio of the finished product. Ingersoll positions as a pioneer and significant player in fiber placement manufacturing. Having designed products like “Mongoose™, Mongoose Hybrid™, and Hawk™ systems offers to the market advanced and highly capable technologies that are essential for the composite manufacturing of aircraft, rocket, and vessel structures.
