Twenty-three of the top 100 players in the world rankings will feature at the Brescia wheelchair tennis Futures, organised by Active Sport and the Camozzi Group.

The Camozzi Open is one of the most important international tennis tournaments in the Italian calendar. At the Brescia wheelchair tennis Futures, scheduled from June 13th to 16th, champions from 14 different nations will compete on the Tennis Forza e Costanza courts (via Signorini).

The international wheelchair tennis event will see the participation of two athletes from the United States, which is where wheelchair tennis was born in the 1970s.

In the men's singles, ten Top 100s will compete against each other, including Tratter from Alto Adige, Cippo from Abruzzo, Carlos Anker from Holland, Tadeusz Kruszelnicki, Martin Legner and Roby De Bie.

In the women's singles there are nine athletes in the Top 100, including three Italians. One of the favourites is the Sardinian athlete Marianna Lauro, who won the previous edition.

The women's finals and the Quad Singles final are scheduled for Saturday 15th June and the men's finals for Sunday morning on the 16th.

Four days of entertainment, with free admission, in memory of Attilio Camozzi, a fundamental figure in the growth and development of Active Sport projects.
